H2O gas?
I haven't done much with water so far in my station, I've been storing it, and I assume it's primary use is for hydroponics, but can it be used for anything else? I think the game is just treating it as another gas right, there's no atual liquid stuff in the game? It doesn't freeze or convert to steam etc...? I'm curious if it will work in my jetpack.

doubt it. h2o also forms nice puddles.

H20 can melt into water and fill up the base... also, jetpacks probably wouldnt work with water haha, unless its a pressure jetpack. From what the model shows, it looks similar to a reaction at the nozzles and 'fire' comes out, although it is blue.

Well, I heard you can use any gas for the pack, and since I was thinking water was being treated as a gas, it seemed to make sense. Actually, I'm going to just try it out right now and I'll be right back LOL.

Edit: Okay, just checked and H2O works just fine in the jetpack. I don't see any puddles, but not sure if that's only in atmosphere, or maybe temp dependent. My canister is reading a few deg below 0, which if it were actually water should of course be ice. Mario Sunshine anybody?

I'm hoping that in the future that H2O will be required for hydration, hygeine, and for making steam turbines.

My only issue with needing it for more systems would be that it's not that easy to come by. I don't know what the plans are for mining improvements, but in my world water ice seems pretty rare, and I've only consumed it while experimenting with my filtration and tank storage (a couple blowouts have led to a fair bit of lost to be honest).

Maybe they give us Electrolysis at some point. And maybe even more Ice, especially when in space (ships?).
