My keyboard is trying to induce a seizure... how the hell do I turn off the over-the-top razer lighting feature for this game!??!

Ok, fixed... you can disable it per game/app in the razer chroma configurator thing. That should be configurable from in-game. That's dangerously high levels of activity for the keyboard... honestly, people at risk of seizures would probably be at risk :/

So, as you've discovered, Snake Pass supports Razer Chroma keyboards as default. Although a neat little addition, we totally appreciate that the animation is not for everyone! That said, if health is your concern, rest assured that Chroma supported animations have to be processed by Razer themselves before they are let out into the wild. They'd never let anything go out in an official capacity without health reviews :)

Do you not feel it’s a bit over the top? It just felt like something was going wrong and I turned it off as soon as possible. It was incredibly distracting.

What an absolutely stupid thing to do, developer! Totally agree with the OP. Until I saw this, I was ready to uninstall the game after just starting it up. I don't care if you like the crazy light show or not, it's not cool to take over someone's hardware without some sort of notice that the game will do so AND the option to opt-out beforehand. Bad Form

Not sure how people think this is over the top I can think of multiple games off the top of my head that do the exact same thing and I have never heard anyone complain

"induce a seizure" ? It's literally 1 solid color theme for each level. It doesn't do anything unless you die, then it just turns off all the colors and goes a very faint color of grey in 1 spot. The title screen where the red and yellow pattern meant to look like Noodle is very cute and not even nauseating.
