I've 100%ed the game, and... (no hard spoilers)
...it's been surprisingly fun the whole way through! Aside the camera gripes I mentioned briefly in another post, this game has been an excellent experience from front to back. Those last couple unlocks were a pleasant surprise too!

I've only got two more achievements left to go as of writing this, and the "No Diving" one in particular seems to be giving me trouble. I've completed the level without touching the water, even being tail-wary, but for some reason it hasn't counted any of my attempts. I'll keep trying though, and I'll probably start another thread for that once I've exhausted every option.

The story was a nice little add-on to a game that didn't really need it, but I will say the cutscenes NEED to be skippable in a future update. I hate accidentally starting a level in normal mode and then having to sit there for a minute when I only want to attempt a challenge.

The level of challenge in the later stages is somewhere between "just right" and "slightly frustrating" though I'd say it leans toward the former. I never felt as if it were impossible to progress (aside attempting to collect one coin in the last three levels that has its own switch up on a pedestal to unlock the door to, but that's different) and after beating the game, going back for the collectibles was not as frustrating as I thought (especially thanks to that first unlock you get at the end).

I'm certainly not the most unbiased person, especially since I've been waiting for this game for many months, but like the last Sumo title I played, I find it engrossing enough to play well beyond the game's inbuilt goals! It's a physics-based 3D puzzle-platformer with a playable snake, a charming art style, great music and challenging gameplay. The only thing to want for is more content.

EDIT: Got all the achievements now. No Diving seems a bit more finnicky than I thought. There might be spots on land that somehow count as touching the water, namely a bit of the very wet-looking stone right before the goal. No way to check now.
