Seeing this game flop so hard makes me happy
The way Konami treated Kojima is pathetic, for a big company to discard the individual who make them relevant the way they did was truly disgusting and seeing their next project without Kojima involved flop the way it did puts a huge smile on my face. I love Karma.

Konami will never be anything without Kojima and the fact that they don’t know this illustrates how deluded the company as a whole are.

You're really 5 years late to this kind of discussion. I'm sorry. It's okay to think what you want about Konami today, but the hard truth is: it's too late. Even Kojima said he wanted to be done with MGS before and during making V. He won't return to Konami even if he owned the company, he is done. He won't touch MGS anymore. Even if he wasn't fired, he already wanted to quit and stop making MGS games, he was fed up.

You can see with Death Stranding he prefers making horror / spooky stuff, now.

Don't waste your time trying to convince people who won't listen here, and just enjoy games you do like, because at least, those still exist.

If this were GTA Defective Edition where they removed from sales all the older games except the one they want you to play, sure, that's f*cking evil, entirely so.
But here, you can still play the old games, MGSV can still be bought and enjoyed, so can be the spinoffs, previous titles, etc. Metal Gear's still alive long as you'll remember it. So enjoy it and other games you like, because at the end of the day, trying to talk here about this, is just a waste of time for yourself. Not for me, but yourself first.

Try checking out UnMetal here on steam, or games that have been inspired by MGS if there's any. there's still plenty of games to enjoy, it's just that there's too many games today, it's hard to find what we like, but it most certainly exists.
