Do they still support this game via updates?

how is the game? is it alive? where can i read patchnotes and updates changes? what is planned for this anyway? expansions, dlc, major updates? i haven't heard anything about this game since release flop. can you tell how is the game today?

We still get regulair content patches/updates, the notes are available in-game.
As for the community, it's pretty tight woven and is usually really active in the groupchat/discord.

You may read what I asked more carefully, because that doesn't prove what you've said.
So far MGV got more updates than TPP too even if TPP can be considered a success, yet you can see how fast Konami abandonned TPP especially because of MGO3 being a massive failure, for a triple AAA game focused on online that's not good.

game changes a lot since released

what they usually gives is a balance changes/some changes in mechanics/new enemy/new weapons

no new maps or dlc yet since released

for online : matchmaking is pretty much dead due to low player base everyone just not using it and create discord/steam group chat for it instead work as external server browser and host their own game that way so if you looking for crew to co-op with
look up steam group chat there should be links somewhere

It has it's group of players playing it.

As for the game, they have added a lot of things since launch the only things notable here are:
1.Extreme Difficulty coop missions.
2. 3 new enemy types in Coop.(Which 1 of them is exclusive for 1 event)
3. Lots of weapons , and costumes that weren't in the game at launch.
4. Chapter Replay and ability to change your character face and gender,
5.Rescue type coop missions.
6.Daily and weekly exploration missions.
7.Ability to group craft items and group convert materials.

As for future updates, we don't really know. for the past 1-2 months the only new event was the halloween one. After that they didn't added anything new other than weapons.

That is good to know. I just bought it, i cant wait to get into it! I have a question though, is there any content that i can purchase in game? Skins or anything like that? I havent installed it yet, but i am curious, before i buy another game with my remaining wallet funds. Im wondering if i should save it, if theres anything to spend it on in game.

Nothing game changing, some temp boosts that nultiply resources, character slots for more efficient farning and thats about it for the usefull stuff.
No real cosmetics or any other do-thats
