Jehutys have their heart as the crafting drop. Don't recall them having another. (Naturally if it is as rare as the blue feathers, I might well have missed it)

Blue feathers do drop from Jehutys, they're legendary drops.

I did some bird farming lastnight, it doesn't take long for them to respawn, roughly 15-20 minutes maybe? changing from the afghan map to the africa map and vice versa about 10 minutes after killing them might speed the respawn up a bit, I did this but can't really confirm it made any difference.

Kind of a pain since you need a lot of some of the rarer bird materials if you planned on crafting all the new gadgets, makes me wish bird cages existed, and to capture them you'd use the sling shot with crafted rubber pellets maybe.

If you're okay with exploiting the save system instead of doing it fair and square you can do this. When you kill a jehuty and it doesn't have the part you want you can immediately exit to title and go back to your character. You'll be taken back to base to the point before you killed the bird, so you can kill the bird over and over again with little downtime.

This^. No feather => esc > restart from last save. With my RNG luck it's the only process that gets me what I want.

I tried doing the save exploit on an anubis, got nothing but meant, then I tried it on the striped jackal (we used to have jackals in the wild where I grew up) and i got meat and a bone, I reloaded 20 times and always got meat and a bone, it didnt change. Is the drop not loaded on spawn so matter if you reload its the same?

Its a low chance of success.

Got 4 hearts and 3 feathers, and I've only just started to use that save trick which does work.

Why can't we have a bird cage, would be so much easier, stunning could be a problem.

I would think that that'd be where the slingshot comes in.
