Epic (Orange) stuff drop rate?

Hi,

I played a lot Hard,Daily Hard,Weekly Hard missions,had been almost every time 1st,and did not got ANY epic loot. Few legendaries,but not any epic.
What is the drop rate?
How to get them?

Any hints,tips?

I've gotten one epic item that wasn't a guaranteed drop, a Geist pistol, from a Hard Salvage. My boyfriend got one yesterday, a pilebunker spear, from a Hard Weekly. He'd only gotten the Geist as well before that. So drop rates are likely in the single digit percentages; I'd wager 2-3% and only on S-Rank.

If you're referring to the boxes you pick up at the end of the last wave, those are random skins and don't indicate contents. If you mean Legendary Cases, I wouldn't know on that front.

There is in predictions,that with S rank,you can get weapon or gear.
I got a lot of legendaries (purple items),sometimes 5 in one co-op playthrough,but still,didn't got any EPIC (orange) one :/

Orange = Epic
Purple = Legendary
He said that he got EPIC armor wich you can't really right now since in hard you can only gain epic weapons, epic armors will drop in extreme.

I just wanted to know,what % drop rate is for EPIC (orange) stuff,and maybe somebody could give some hints or something :/

This data can change with every update, last I've heard it's 3% chance, someone told me that now it's 5%.

3-5% sounds about right, honestly. And of course, due to how probability works that doesn't mean you're guaranteed a drop after 20-33 hard S-Ranks. Any given attempt will roll against that small chance, so you could see no epics for weeks, or suddenly get two or three in a row.

Extreme mode should allow a better drop rate.

Epic drops are 5% and less, hard dailies and weekly have a higher chance then hard salvage, its just luck i've done over 80 hard dailys and havent gottena single good thing and then i got a geist and rpa arrow recipe in 1 go and got the epic combataxe the round after

Keep farming the weekly mission, the drop rate seem alright, with my team we are getting 1 epic every 5 or so mission which is actually pretty good.

Well you've been lucky. I've gotten ONE in roughly 30 weekly missions. And to top it off, the pile driver has worse stats and perks than even my rare (blue) spear.

I wrote to Konami,asking what drop percentage is to get EPIC weapons/gears,and they responsed (quoting):

Am I seeing things wrong or are epic drops only from regular hard, not daily and weekly hard? When looking in the reward tab it looks like the daily and weekly hard dont actually show epic drops being possible.
