hmmmm... they don't say a thing about bans. Bans are better than a patch fixing that exploit. Cheaters will find a turnaround eventually.

Hmm.... what happens to players who have not cheated, but have had a cheater in their game? With no way to kick a cheater out of a game, are they really going to punish those who had a cheater pop up in their game?

They clearly say, that thy look after irregularities within logs. I think that they will look into the item list, not only the BP. And a deleting of false gathered BP is in my eyes a good step in the right direction.

They just have to search for the unlocked weapons, ammo, traps or crazy stats on the logs. And ban them. Also a lot of them have played solo. Tracking them down using the logs is really easy.

They do, I contacted support for another issue and they gave me huge details of my logs.

A month and a half later they gave me details of my base status, my items back then and the exact time I lost a crew member. Everything is kept on the logs and they can access it anytime. If they want they can ban the cheaters. IF they want.
