Any tips for this boss? I run out of ammo before i can kill it, also where is its weakspot?

use alot of c4 and grenades. Molotovs as well. I think the weakspot is the middle area but im not really sure. It was sometimes hit or miss with the weakspots for me.

Make sure you're a high enough level. If he's got a skull and his name is in red, then you do drastically less damage to him. Aim for the upper parts of his pod as they flash yellow. Heavy Arrows with a bow works well, then use C4/Mortars/Grenades/other hard hitting weapons while he's on the ground and his weakpoints are exposed. Be mindful of your oxygen and the huge horde of Wanderers that are in the area, too.

I used sniper rifle on the parts of the top of his head that were at that moment orange color (it keeps changing the exact place). Then he gets stunned and falls down, time to unleash your shotgun on his head. Then just repeat. If you are not seeing yellow numbers everytime you hit him, you are doing something wrong and you'll run out of ammo before he dies.

You need to time your shots. After he shoots you with the ice needles you shoot at its head and it will fall to the ground. In doing so leaves it vunerable to stealth knife attacks which burns the hp down significantly faster than just using projectiles.
