End Game Bows with Unlimited Ammo

Unless you're rich and have the best gun with the strongest of ammos, the recurve bow seems to be all you need. It along with heavy ammo one shots pretty much any level wanderer, and if you have gear that causes ammo to not be used, you essentially have unlimited ammo. Shoot an arrow and it didn't get consumed? Pick it right back up and add to your quiver, essentially creating ammo.

im still needing a purple bow, or even epic, right now my bow is mainly a 1 hit kill but sometimes takes 2

Is the grenade ammo a random container recipe?

Unless I am doing something wrong, I can only carry 30 heavy arrows at a time with the quiver, rest is left at the base for some reason ... also, is there any skill there other than survival that gives bonus for bows etc. ?

I think there were optional quivers that you could equip in the beta. I haven't found any yet for heavy arrows. You have to find the additional quiver specifically for heavy arrows. I think!

This confused me for a bit too until I figured out that you have to equip arrows into both the bow -and- the pouch for a total of 60.

To answer questions, there are more quivers, I got them in coop. There are more arrow types, same place!

You might not have opened the container that has the recipe for heavy arrow quiver. I personally run the quiver and the bow with heavy arrows and a second quiver for 5he normal arrows. That way I have 60 heavy and 50 normal.

Since no one answered you, I got mine from Hard mode coop. Same with the penetrating arrows.

i got the recipe from a hard co-op mission, your going to have to farm those to get alot of the fun recipes like fire/ice/shock ammo for every gun

It is a random perk that can be rolled on purple gear
