Time Limit or Not? (included some spoilers)

I back to main base and Virgil told me that I have 11 days before the HIS attack. Does this mean that if I do not have time to equip the base and develop by this time, HE kick my ass and game over? Or i can play freely until then?

Pretty sure you can play freely. Its just saying that to give you a false sense of urgency.

You don't need to upgrade your base, the fight takes place outside and you will have some defendes already set up because Chris is a good guy.

I heard people say there's no actual time limit but you could probably just do it after you level up a little and have loads of ammo anyway.
