Really need advice regarding food/water :(

So i been forced to run the last 4 or 5 missions i've done between 10 and 30% food, and no clean water at all except 1 bottle i found in a ruin... my screen is constantly hazy and im constantly getting warnings going off because of it, and also no hp or stamina to do a damned thing properly!

I been trying very hard to progress since people say the further you get the easier, so once i find and cook some meat from near-death, i do one mission, then spend the next 20 minutes looking for food while near-death again... i been drinking dirty water repeatedly just to get by!

I put markers on every place i've found animals, but they never seem to respawn, so whats the point??

Please, anyone who can give me a bit of advice for these resources i'd greatly appreciate it. I just got past the story mission where you see the giant walker thing outside the ruins near the crashed helicopter... still early game but its hard to do anything with no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Life/Stamina+Hazy screen!!!

You got bottles in the first area of the game. 3 on the table with clean water, 3 is enough to make 1 more clean water after you use them and you get another 6-7 in a crate down near where you got the oxygen tank. That takes care of your water. Food is a bit easier. You get 3 sheeps at the start, 2 jackals, 2 wolves and 3 nubians. That is more than enough meat to last you around 2 hours and the water is renewable as you can just get the bottles from your repository and refill them to make more dirty water. Once you progress in the story, you unlock the campfire with hanging pot to boil the water.

This also unlocks the most important recipe chain in the game till later which is the soup. Soup is 2 clean water or 6 dirty water for reference and 1 piece of your chosen meat. It gives 900 food/thirst and enhances sprint speed. Until then though you have to go around ponds to get wild berries, pick up black carrots and go from there.

the first area where you hunt (really close to base), there is that tropical tree and a water.
every time you go to title and return to game the goat's will respawn there.
plus you have lot of dirty water to take from there.
do this twice or three times and you set.
someone suggested it and only when i did it i solved the problem.

when you progress this problem will be eliminated.
i belive up to chpater 10 your problem will completely be solved.

Keep playing the story until you finish chapter 7, you will get the hanging pot over campfire and be able to make Clean Water from Dirty Water!

worst case scenario you can die on purpose and if you use a revival pill you get 100% refilled on hunger/thirst

Make Canteens, don't fill them with dirty water. Get a bunch of empty bottles. Fill them with water. Purify Bottle Water in to the Canteens.

Make many soups.

You will never go hungry or thirsty again.
