You have a bad internet and can't play PUBG because you disconnect ? This is the same.
Also we saw what happened in MGS5:TPP, people cheated in singleplayer wich affected the multiplayer, all with the excuse "I only cheaated in SP, I don't care about MP", so if the MGS community wasn't filled with cheaters Sp could have been offline by changing some stuff, so we pay the price of the bad part of community, check the forum and see for yourself.
Exept PUBG dosent have a SINGLEPLAYER campaign...♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiot.
And ?
why does singleplayer need online? You fanboys are trash.
It's done that way to prevent game-save file tampering.
Thats a terrible excuse and you know it, GTA V, Phantom pain, and every other singleplayer game with online elements in existence can be played offline. Not even battlefront 2 went soo low as to demand an online connection to play the singleplayer.
The difference being that the character data is not stored on an external server in those games.
It is genuinely impossible to play the game offline because there would be no data to load. Yes, it's not the best way to deter cheating but it's the only way to ensure it can't be done by just your average player.
Plus, look at GTA5 - the character data is stored online and offline, hence the hacking epidemic.
Oh, you can't read or something ? That answer was in my previous comment, I'll repost it and hope that you are smart enough to understand what I'm writting.

I'll put an easier sentence for you, just in case:
"MGS fan stupid, cheat on SP but it affect MP, ruin MP, then complaign about online, bad community"
So what in MG:S has online features in the single player campain? If your argument is cheating in MGS:TPP SP effects MP what Effects MP in SP in MG:S?
Players at the moment are less than 2400 on Steam all over the world, so soon probably people will abandon the game and Konami will pull the plug from servers, leaving users with a game they can't even boot.
There are several titles I've played that requires always online, and have single player component. They do not have as much complaint as MG:Survive.
It's 2018 people, seriously, stop being cheap. Toss your dial up in the trash, get a job, and upgrade your internet.
If TPP server are still online and we get march update for MGV the server won't be plugged soon.
Always online or not it won't make people buy it, if it was offline people would just pirate it like with MGS5:TPP.
Ignorance at its finest.
