The main issue i personally have with this game is that there is plenty of games under the same genre that does alot of the same things, look at Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops, it was a spinoff not directed by Hideo Kojima (which apperently everyone here hates) and it turned out great, why? because it did something unique in a fasion fans could recognize, and added to that same genre, without having to make it into something it isn't, Metal Gear Survive is doing what everyone else is doing and already did, make another wave based zombie survival game, there are too many of them, and the good zombie games are already well known and hard to compete with, because if there is one thing this genre has showed us, is that you eather go big or you become trash in some aley way, and boy is there alot of trash out there.

So you don't like the game, that doesn't mean making a spinoff itself is a bad idea. ;p
Some people here are getting a heart attack cause "their game" is actually not their game anymre.
Making a spinoff is a good idea. Revengeance was a good spinoff and had talent. Survive is lacking the spirit of Metal Gear.

I'll just go play Factorio and watch Dota in the meanwhile. Couple people in some other topics really are trying their best to reach their yearly profanity quota. :D

It can go to 0.5 for all anyone cares. Still doesn't make any difference. Just like a game that has a 10 on metacritic makes no difference. Once again, look at PUBG for an example of a game that has a terrible score but has sold incredibly well. It isn't my cup of tea but they satisfied a demand. Just like MG Survive is with being in the top sellers and all.

Most 0 or 1 revies are from people who are just upset this isn't a new Metal Gear Solid.
Some "its boring" comments without details.

Yea I'll ignore the user reviews there... even the positive ones.

It's a top seller. So if "fans" aren't buying it, that means the game appealed to a large audience of new players to the franchise. Which if that's the case could convince Konami that there's still a large audience of new players that would warrant a remaster of the original MGS games.

Sonic fans are perfectly fine, except the ones that are too crazy. But that’s another topic.

So this has nothing to do with actual game quality, but a protest aganst spinoffs? Weird.
