I'm waiting for Death Stranding too. There's really no need for negativity, Survive and Death Stranding both have their respective niches.
I pre-ordered DS on PS4 and will be first to buy it on PC.
You have a bad memory then because the game was on sale before.
Death Stranding is pretty bad even if the press wanted the game to be a huge success, Sony is pretty desperate right now so they decided to sell PS4 with the game, imagine this: The game was supposed to sell PS4 hence why the PC version as a delayed release but it's doing so bad that it's free with a PS4 now just to boost death stranding sales like "Oh yeah it sold 3 million copies overall...... ah that's right 75% of the copies sold were just from free copies given with the PS4".
Well death stranding sold badly so far, it didn't sell as much as MGS5:TPP who sold like 3 million copies on it's first day, in fact it's selling so badly that we still don't know how many copies have been sold so far except some picked sales like "Guys look the game is good, it's number 2 in UK, behind COD b-b-but it's good I swear !" , then in Japan "Death stranding is the best selling first IP ever ! ......... Ah you want worldwide numbers of copies sold ? Huh....... KOJIMA IS GOD !".
In 7 days it will be 1 month that the game as been release so hopefully we will get numbers even if now it doesn't really matter with the PS4 boosting, but I'm sure if the game was a huge success the press would have tod us already so my guess is that it sold less than MGS5:TPP.
Btw about the UK charts:
"Death Stranding has slipped and taken a tumble down the physical UK chart. Having already fallen from second to eighth last week, the unique PlayStation 4 adventure from Hideo Kojima now finds itself at number 13."

this is why we cannot take sales figures seriously.
Also Star Wars is far better than anything Kojima has ever created.
And at very least playing COD is more fun than spending 100 hours in the empty and boring world of MGS V.(MGS V shows that Kojima doesn't understands open world genre.)
I am only pointing out that seeing the type of games in the top 10 selling list, we really can't take best selling lists as proof that 'a game that sells well, is a game is that is good.' Or that 'if a game is good, it will sell well.'
I am not saying that 'poor selling' games or 'niche' games are better by virtue of their low sales figures. I'm just calling into question the notion of 'best sellers' as a mark of good quality. It may be that a best selling is good, but it sure isn't good because it sold well.
And we really don't know who buys these games as well. It could be that hundreds of divorced moms or dads with no idea of what to give their kids for xmas blindly go and purchase COD or Fortnite because it's on all the storefronts. That's why I don't pay attention to sales figures when it comes to deciding what games I play.
MGS community is rather small even if you don't like it, same for Kojima fans being a really small part of gamers, hence why death stranding is no longer in the top 10 of UK charts especially since the game is bad no matter if SONY paid for good reviews.
Soooooooooo now that it's not in the top sales after 3 weeks and so far we don't know how many copies have been sold worldwide I guess it wasn't such a huge succes compared to MGS5:TPP for exemple, trust me if death stranding sold 3 million copies in a week we would have heard about it, let's wait until it as been a month and if we still have no numbers...........
MGS V=TPP+MGO3+GZ
which 2 of these 3 were failures.(Many fans bought GZ cheap or not at all. And MGO 3 was so much failure that it killed Kojima Production LA and Japan studio couldn't save it.)
Personally, MGSV is my GOTDecade, GZ was fun and MGO3 was fun too.
I will for sure buy Death Stranding, regardless of whether it sold 3 million copies or 4 million.
They could have done that some times ago, we got ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, free events, etc etc etc there's too much stuff to list them.
We would have got a DLC by now and there is no words of an expansion. The big project I heard about isn't about Metal gear survive considering it's a small budget game and I would have been informed if they decided to make a triple A expansion or a triple A MGV 2, unless you know someone want to surprise me.
