2: No time limit.
3: No psychopaths.
4: Game is just plain ugly.
5: Weapons get old fast, and the armor is just a gimmick.
idk, not having a timer running while playing the game is a good thing, at least for me, no need to rush things, i can play at my own pace, taking my time collecting things and exploring the map
Edit: That is, when/if they make a new DR game that isn't a remake
Edit: Thought I was on DRDR's community forums, sorry, I meant release a sandbox DLC for DRDR.
The healing items thing is actually a nice QOL improvement but changing the whole inventory system was a mistake because it limits what you can do. If you haven't played the previous games you are missing out on the joy that is throwing pies at the zombies.
The map also has no depth, it's big but most stores are closed and the ones that are open don't have nearly as many items to pick up, it also looks uglier and the christmas theme got old fast.
Time management was indeed a key feature of the previous games and it meant you couldn't get a perfect run on your first try because you simply don't know what's going to happen, even on a second run it might be hard to do it. I do like having all the time I want to smash zombies but that should've been an extra mode, like they did with capcom heroes.
As a zombie game it still is somewhat fun, better than other games but DR1/2/OTR/3 already were ahead of other zombie games in so many ways, they had everything you want in this kind of games and DR4 took too many steps back.
