Slow Download?

So...I left it yesterday night so as to download it and hoped I'd have it ready by this evening (which didn't happen) normal download speed (which - for me - would be ~600KB/s but as soon as I hit 36-37GBs downloaded my download speed drastically fell to no more than 100KB/s. Right now, as I'm speaking, my DS is 43.9KB/s why is this? Anything else I do that requires internet runs normally. Is it some kind of problem with the cloud system? Or perhaps the steam servers are overpopulated or something like that? Is somebody able to explain this to me please? It seems that these last 5GBs will be a tour to hell! Thanks for reading and taking up some of your time (possibly) answering to me.

Edit (Something I forgot to mention): Whenever I restart my PC, the DS comes back to normal but the problem is, it lasts for about 10-15 mins. Then, it falls again to 100- KB/s.

I think it's because of the summer sale and not a game related problem, atm i'm getting the same exact super slow download with Xenonauts. Also it seems there's a bit of others post all around steam about the slow download speed posted in the last days.

Thanks for the reply,mate! I really haven't checked anything else apart from DR4 forums so I guess it was a mistake not to. At least, the download is now complete and I can let my PC relax a bit. I'll keep this thread up in case other people experience this as well. Thanks again for the response and may Gaben provide you with his power of downloading! :P
