Świetna gierka! W momencie gdy ogarniesz jak modelować swojego propa zaczyna się najlepsza zabawa :D

It's pretty fun to play. I'm really bad at modelling but it's still funny. Also, you can turn into sh*t in the toilet, keep that in mind :p

Mimic Busters takes the familiar excitement of multiplayer prop hunting and gives it a creative identity through customizable disguises, imaginative character designs, and playful competitive mechanics. Developed by DevAdam and Tape Corps and published by GameDev.ist, this colorful multiplayer experience encourages players to become active participants in shaping their own strategies rather than relying on predetermined transformations. Its greatest attraction is the ability to construct disguises using accessible 3D modeling tools, introducing an entertaining combination of artistic experimentation, environmental awareness, and deception. The concept is particularly appealing for groups of friends who appreciate unpredictable multiplayer encounters where clever ideas can be just as valuable as quick reactions.

The gameplay revolves around two opposing teams, Mimics and Busters, each offering a different perspective on the same environment. Mimics must create convincing objects and hide among ordinary environmental decorations, while Busters search for anything suspicious. Unlike conventional prop-hunting games where players select existing objects, Mimic Busters allows participants to build and paint their own disguises. This additional freedom makes the hiding process considerably more interesting because success depends on creativity and observation. A convincing imitation of nearby furniture might provide excellent camouflage, while an unusual creation could attract immediate attention. The system also creates opportunities for comedy when bizarre disguises somehow escape detection.

Playing as a Buster introduces a more methodical challenge that rewards patience and careful judgment. Hidden Mimics periodically produce squeaking sounds, giving hunters occasional clues about their locations. However, attacking suspicious objects without sufficient evidence can result in health penalties, preventing players from simply shooting everything in sight. This mechanic adds meaningful consequences to every decision and creates an enjoyable balance between caution and aggression. The tension becomes especially entertaining when a hunter approaches a disguised opponent but cannot determine whether the object is genuine. Although the underlying rules are straightforward, their interaction can generate surprising situations that make individual matches feel different.

One particularly interesting design choice involves rewarding Mimics for taking greater risks. Hiding close to enemy agents and creating larger disguises can provide additional points, encouraging players to consider strategies beyond remaining completely invisible. This scoring approach introduces an entertaining balance between ambition and survival. A tiny object hidden in a distant corner might be relatively safe, but a larger creation positioned near an opponent could prove more rewarding. Such mechanics give competitive players reasons to experiment with increasingly daring tactics. However, the overall experience will depend on maintaining reasonable balance between disguise sizes, map layouts, and detection opportunities.

Customization represents another important strength. Players can construct personalized character parts, including heads, bodies, arms, and legs, while also applying their own artistic designs to weapons. The ability to save creations for later modification makes experimentation more worthwhile, especially for those who enjoy refining unusual appearances. Steam Workshop integration adds another dimension by supporting community creativity. Nevertheless, the accessibility of the modeling interface remains essential. Creative freedom is only enjoyable when players can manipulate objects comfortably without spending excessive time struggling with complicated controls.

The alternative Guess the Mimic mode expands the experience beyond competitive hiding. Instead of avoiding detection, one participant attempts to represent a secret word through 3D modeling while others try to identify the intended subject. This transforms the creative tools into a social guessing activity reminiscent of party drawing games, except with three-dimensional objects. The potential for amusing interpretations and unexpected misunderstandings makes this mode particularly attractive for casual gatherings. It also demonstrates that the game's modeling system has applications beyond its primary competitive mechanics.

Visually, Mimic Busters adopts a cheerful cartoon aesthetic that suits its humorous premise. Its colorful environments and exaggerated designs encourage playful experimentation without demanding realistic graphical detail. This presentation should appeal to players who prefer accessible party games over serious competitive shooters. However, environmental clarity is especially important because players must distinguish legitimate objects from disguised opponents. Maps need sufficient decoration to support camouflage while remaining readable enough to ensure that successful detection feels rewarding rather than random.

The game offers online and LAN multiplayer functionality alongside a listed single-player component, providing several ways to engage with its systems. Steam achievements, cloud support, and community features further strengthen its overall package. Its biggest potential limitation is dependence on an active multiplayer community. Although the mechanics sound entertaining, matchmaking availability, server reliability, and the willingness of participants to experiment creatively will strongly influence long-term enjoyment. Playing with friends may therefore provide the most dependable experience, particularly when everyone appreciates the humor and improvisation involved.

Technical accessibility appears reasonable, with minimum PC requirements of 8 GB of RAM, a GTX 750 Ti or equivalent graphics card, and approximately 2 GB of storage. Steam Deck compatibility is officially listed as Unknown, meaning Valve has not confirmed whether the game meets its Verified or Playable standards. Although SteamOS support is listed, handheld performance and the usability of its modeling controls remain uncertain. Players intending to use the Steam Deck should be prepared for possible controller adjustments or compatibility issues.

Overall, Mimic Busters presents an entertaining and inventive interpretation of multiplayer hide-and-seek. Its strongest feature is the freedom to create disguises rather than merely selecting existing props, supported by thoughtful hunting mechanics, extensive customization, and humorous social interactions. While questions remain about balancing, matchmaking, and lasting content variety, the underlying concept offers considerable promise for casual multiplayer enthusiasts. It is particularly appealing to players who enjoy creativity, deception, and unpredictable competition.

A promising and imaginative multiplayer party game whose creative freedom and entertaining mechanics make it worth considering, although its long-term success will depend on continued refinement and community engagement.
