Disney Infinity 2.0: Gold Edition

Disney Infinity 2.0: Gold Edition

Game doesn't start at all
I'm asking this on the behalf of a family member who just called me about it, they don't speak fluent english so I'm tasked to find a solution.

Basically they install the game and attempt to run it, steam goes "preparing to launch..." and then nothing happens, the play counter still says about a minute played, but the game doesn't start.

Suggestions?

Occasionally when I start up DI 2.0 I get a black screen during intro titles but sound keeps going. Usually forcing app to close and restarting loads up fine. This is on Windows 10 machine. If this is not the same issue, did you try Disney Support? They are available on both email and phone support. It's also essential to have the system spec handy. Windows ver, CPU, RAM, etc.

For what i've understood it doesn't even start really, they use windows 8.1 i believe. I'll tell them to contact the Disney support.

Go to the file location (right-click on game title and go to files location).
Right click on DisneyInfinity2.exe -> properties -> Compatibility tab -> check Disable fullscreen Otimization -> OK. Then Run double-clicking that file
Worked like a charm for me ^^

It works for me but I want to record and stream the game and I can't do that when I check that option unfortunately

I bought the game, but it doesn't work. I tried the method you mentioned, but it didn't work. Maybe there are other solutions?

Did you try running on Admin mode?
Windows protection can sometimes block some processes...
