Setting a lock

So im back into the game for the first time since a year ago. I've been playing all weekend but there is one thing i just cant get to work. Locks!
Ive got every kind of item you can imagine in my inventory (lock kit, lockkit dyi, combination lock) but what ever i do it just tells me that im missing something.
Now this is just a wild guess from me, but as im typing it hit me - do i need a screwdriver? Cos that might just be what im missing :P

a screwdriver or drill, and some screws are required to install a lock kit.

Hello i have another Question about Lock´s my Door lock´s keep disapaering and i have no clue why. Any fixes maybee? Thanks
