I've got 19 hours in the game at the moment and I am nowhere near completing the first campaign.
Think of it as "The Original Uncut Version" of the film Das Boot. The time where seemingly nothing happens just builds tension. This game is like that, there's a lot of time where seemingly nothing happens, until some NPC breaks the silence with MF Active and all hell breaks loose.
