I wouldn't know. But the South China campaign is 2000, the Astutes came into service in 2014. I don't think it would be too much of a stretch to implement modern subs into a campaign.
As for possibly adding British subs into the SCS campaign, the Astute is too modern- but Swiftsures and the newer Trafalgars would fit in nicely.
I didn't mean implementing the Astutes into the SCS, I meant creating a whole new one. After all, there isn't too much work to do aside from maybe map? Mission scenarios are generally the same, most of the infanstructure is there anyway.
Hopefully it would mean real models of the UK subs, and not the modded kinds...
I would think you could put them in the same operating teatre that we have in the 84 and 68 campaign now, so a Royal Navy rewrite of the scenario and the implementation of new submarines would do it.
Again, all respect to the modding community out there, but a Churchill class built with parts from other existing sub models in the game now is not what I am looking for...
Go KFG! I am almost willing to admit I just might like this moore than I would a Soviet campaign...
For one thing, I think it would be possible to implement this DLC faster...
Julhelm: Please make this happen...
