Do you have any mods installed, or are you running a clean install?
Also, have you tried re-installing the game, or validating the game files?

Clean install and validated the files.
I've checekd, I'm running the latest version of my graphics driver.
I've ran DxDiag and it says 3D acceleration is enabled.
I've tried the deleting Visual C++ and reinstalling... all to no avail.
I'm literally at the sacrificing chickens and throwing the bones around stage...

Seriously though... if all your drivers are up to date and such, could there be some nasty litter registry issue hiding out from a previous install that's keeping it from working?
Try hitting the Devs up in Discord. They are really responsive and might be able to help you out.
