HUD Question - Stack Controls

I've seen quite a few YouTubers who have their helm, dive and sensor controls stacked so that all are open at the same time. I've just downloaded the game, and all three of these seem to open on top of each other, only showing one of the three at a time. Is there a way to move them or stack them, or is that option only available with a mod? If so, which one? Thanks.

Boy, am I ever far from being a programmer or a modder, but I did stumble on this excellent post and was able to move the controls to where I wanted them. Follow the directions exactly and simply remove // from the HUD you want and add // to the default HUD.
