I sunk a kirov on one of the single missions and that was one part amazing and one part intense! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I have do that again.

I managed to sink 2 Moskvas in my last 'Realistic' campaign. The one time I saw Kirov, I was attacking a surface fleet and didn't spot him until the attack was underway. He kicked my butt up between my shoulder blades.

Yep, congrats! So far the Kirov and the Moskva are the only two ships I run away from, the Kirov because it has more firepower than an entire tank division and the Moskva because of the horde of god-mode choppers

Have not seen the Moskva, pretty sure I saw the Kirov at some point, but I did sink the Kiev one time.

What an experience that was. I nailed it with a Mk 48 and it kept right on trucking. So I hit it again. That time it stopped, but didn't sink. So I hit it a third time. Boy did that make them mad (but it sank, joke's on them).

Three Mk 48s?? Hell is that thing made out of?

For me the Moskva is a doom ship, firstly because it can take a couple of Mk.48's to put it on the bottom, but mostly because at the first sign of trouble the mega-swarm of choppers descend on you, and the ship can re-arm the choppers! I've tried taking it on twice and both times I've had to escape an entire magazine of helo-dropped torps.
