Ship types and classes
So, when i find a contact and classify it, i get a name and i dont know which type of ship that is. Is there an overview showing all names + ship classes? It would be nice to know which ships are dangerous for me and which are fast/slow. Or are all enemy warships dangerous for the submarine?

1.) The enemy is dangerous.
2.) The Unit Reference section in the game will tell you about the ships in the game and the weapon systems the enemy will be using against you, save the RBU-types. for those, see these:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RBU-1000
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RBU-6000

EDIT: Generally, the older a submarine is, the less danger it poses... Soviet surface vessels are pretty much the same degree of danger because they use the same basic weapon systems - some of them just have more of one type or another. Even a Grishi or Poti can be dangerous if they land a good RBU salvo on you.

thanks! So the RBU is the main weapon of most ships. They look hellish cool when you watch when they fire it. So far the enemy mostly used RBU vs me and i could swear that some quick patrol boat also fired a torpedo from a tube at me. I wonder which other weapons they use. Keep in mind that im only playing the early age campaign so far, because it mostly plays like the old silent hunter game. Close and personal!

i am right when i say that the RBU kinda replace the deep charges from WW2?

The RBU is essentially a Hedgehog-type system... but is trainable.
The torpedoes and missiles are all in the Unit Details section. Go there and use the "A" button to scroll through them.
