Select Vessel in campaign
Just got back from playing a bit on my buddies computer and we found out you can select different vessels in campaign by using the A and D keys on the selection screen.

There are no arrows and only a random button so we had to look in the full manual.

Hope this helps at least one person.

Thanks! Hope they will add some buttons/icons there. Also "in game" we need more UI buttons for have an alternative to keys.
I had to look this up as well. Zero indication of how to interact with the interface. Ran into this issue with the signature selection and the entire campaign map among other things. I had no idea what I was doing until I found it in the manual, or in the campaign interface case, looked in these threads.

Interesting. So you managed to get through all the tutorials without being aware of changing the player sub?

Did you do the tutorials or was this a failure in the tutorials to be clear? (so we can improve them if necessary)

Also planning to add some subtle arrows to the Unit Reference and Vessel Selection pages.
You can change subs in tutorials? Thaught that was campaign only.

Single missions and some of the later tutorials let you change the sub along with the campaigns.
Sound like we need to make this more obvious.
Thx for the info, I didn't notice that too
i went through all tutorial missions with the default sub i get, i had no idea i can switch, let alone rotate the model and such :P

some buttons or some hint that show you this could help quiet a bit. i had to find out about it in the full manual.

Ok, we'll try to make that more clear.
I had the same problem with the unit reference. At first I thought you had to unlock all models but the "Los Angeles". I played through all the tutorials, started a couple campaigns, and it wasn't until I actively sought out an answer that I found out "A" and "D" scroll units.
^^^ Same here. I thought it was something like you could only unlock vessels after you destroy them.

I did all of the tutorials. They didn't say that I could use A and D to scroll between the Signatures, sub selection, or reference section.

Maybe they did, but it wasn't clear or perhaps I just missed it. However, since that seems to be the main way to scroll between many things on the interface, I'd imagine it should be very very clear to the user.

Ah awesome. Thank you. I'm noticing the game is very hotkey oriented. However people just naturally use the mouse for almost everything computer related. So arrows or any kind of visual indicator would be very helpful.

I was also unaware you could change vessels. Played 8 hours so far and had no idea this could be done. There was no mention in tutorials.
I missed this as well, thanks for brining it up. I enjoy using the Skipjack in the 80's campaign.
I went through the tutorials and also missed this. I lost a sub on campaign, hit the random button and got the Narwahl, which was neat.

Yes, we played all the tutorials and didn't catch that was how you selected the ship since it was fairly streamlined (which was awsome!). I was sort of playing over the shoulder, so we must have both missed it.
Hi. I have tried to select a sub with the A and D keys. I can move to the sub i wont to select, but when i press accept with the left mouse key a get a different sub anyone no why or how to fix this. thanks.
