Pre Game Release Demo
Will we get one?
Just a short training exercise Demo to teach us the 101 basics of Cold Water.

Like command your Skipjack class submarine to leave Naval Station Norfolk or go from A to B and meet up with a Charles F Adams class destroyer waiting for you off the cost.

Were you learn your WSAD and how to speed up and slow down as well as raise and lower your periscope and the submarines depth,
And when you get to the destroyer you get hints on how to use sonar and fire torpedoes at a underwater test target.

And it can have a 5 minute timer were the session auto ends and kicks you back to main screen were you have two options Play Demo or Quit Game.

Why not a proper but simple mission, like attacking an enemy destroyer/sub? ;) Red Storm Rising had two training scenarios, against a Kashin DD and a November SSN.

In any case, in an earlier thread they said they might consider a demo post-release.

I don't think, at this point, spending the man hours on a demo would be prudent. From everything I have seen posted by the developers the game is very close to release and in the final polishing stages.

Haha...the Kashin DD. Man, great recollection.

Or a Pre Game Release Developer Gameplay Video?

A new trailer would be in order!

We've been asking for months. Killerfish is a small team (3 guys) and I think they have been putting in some serious (100 or so a week) hours in trying to wrap the game up. Honestly, at this point, i'm hoping that they just bang it out so we can get it this month as its a must buy for me.

Only three!? Do they do the 3D models in-house as well?
Julhelm May 16, 2017 @ 5:22pm
As the lead artist, I can most assuredly say that we do.

@Julhelm can correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure they do just about all of it, if not all of it, in house (i thought i saw somewhere that they mentioned some out sourced stuff - maybe on subsim or simhq forums). It makes it that much more special of a project, just another reason it's a must buy. I love supporting small ambitious developers. It's going to be something really special, which makes the wait that much more painful :|
