What could possibly go wrong when you get into a complete stranger's car?

Meet Hitch Happens, a story-driven hitchhiking simulator where an ordinary road trip turns into a series of bizarre encounters, ridiculous situations, and completely unpredictable adventures!

Forget travel itineraries, hotel reservations, and helpful tour guides. All you've got is the open road, your thumb in the air, and the hope that the next driver is at least somewhat normal.

Good luck with that last part.

Hitch a ride, meet new drivers, and get ready for even the most ordinary trip to take a very unexpected turn.

One day you're just making small talk with a driver, the next you're partying on a bus, and before you know it, you're considering a sketchy job somewhere in the woods.

And somehow, it all seemed perfectly normal at first!

In Hitch Happens, there's more to your journey than just hopping from one car to another. You'll also have to figure out how to get along with all sorts of people.

Hitch a ride - meet new drivers, hop into different cars, and see who you'll run into next.

Choose your words - chat with your fellow travelers, ask questions, and decide whether getting involved in their questionable plans is really such a good idea.

Poke around - explore car interiors, open glove compartments, and interact with whatever catches your eye. Just don't act surprised if the driver starts giving you funny looks.

Hit the road again - try different dialogue options, meet new characters, and discover stories you missed on your previous trips.

A whole lot of strange encounters, unexpected adventures, and stories your friends will never believe are waiting for you.

Add Hitch Happens to your Steam wishlist to stay up to date with the latest news and make sure you don't miss the release!

And remember: if your driver starts a sentence with "Don't freak out, but...", it might be a good time to ask them to pull over.

See you on the road! 🚗
