Trophie Questions

I'm in NG+++, and want to platinum this.

Thing is, I'm only missing a few things. So the question is: If I only get the Books/Profiles/Resipies I need will I get the Trophie? Or do I have to get them all in one run?

you can't get all profiles in the same PT, i think there are at least 2 cases where you need to choose between entries. I think everything is avaible in one PT except char entries and master quartz achievment. Million mira is probably also multiply times aswell.

I know, but do I need to reobtain say all the books or only the ones I missed?

Basically, do I have to do one run or can I do multible?

Duno about books, entries and quartz should count separetely, at least if you have save.

Yes, you need ALL in a single playthrough. However depends what option you took for carryover. Hope you are not too far from the start.

It is possible to get all of the character profiles, all recipes, filled the monster guide, filled the book section, every treasure chest, in a single playthrough. The only 1 I worry for you is all 28 varieties of master quartz. Do you remember which MQ you took previously? Just take the other 1 this time.

All of the character profiles can be done if you took the max bond option at the start. Which you should be consider it is NG+++. If you only took the note option, just filled those ??? will do. Refer to guides for when to talk to NPC or classmates.
All recipes you just have to refer to guides as well. If you only took the note option, just filled those ??? will do.
Every treasure chest, just equip Detection quantz and have habit to check map often.
Filled the monster guide, again have the habit to scout before killing. If there is any entry that has ??? means you need to go back.
Filled the book section best to recollect everything. You get a stone anyway for reward. Don't forget the library as well.

I'm on my first play through, and Machias' option of "strong bond" event wasn't there, but his link is already at LVL 5, can you guys help me?

did you do some special bond event with him ? like when you have to search the uniform in the capital ? or the one in september ?

Nope, I only did normal bond events, I can't remember which of them was, but I'm certain that it was not a special bond event.

Assuming it's the same as PS3, there's an achievement/trophy for each. So as long as every entry in the notebook is filled, each section, you'll get the relevant trophy. For recipies, I think you need to make all the available variations of a recipe too

So basically, every entry in the relevant notebook tabs (Friend, Book, Recipe, Monster, Fish) should 100% complete with no "???" to get the trophy

well from what i know, to have a special event with someone you have to do a special bond event in in september with him/her or take him in the capital when crow ask you to do.

If you're asking for the ending stuff, you're requireed to visit all bonding events (This reaches a certain threashhold of link points) and to: 1. bring them along on the Moatercycle ride to himedall, 2. Use two points on them during the Festival

This allows for you to dance with them at the final day before the Battle for Trista. This is the final Bonding event. Dancing with a particular character will make ending dialogue change and affect some stuff in the sequel.

Technically speaking as long as you play on nightmare and have Thor/Chevalier Master Quartz with you from the beginning, it is possible to get all achievements on NG+++. You must be carefull because it is very easy to miss even one chest (Detection quartz recommended) or enemy (make a habit of checking the monster guide often) that will ruin your perfect playthrough ;) You probably will have to "grind" cancel arts/crafts counter (Can't Touch This! achievement) but that depends on your battle strategy.

EDIT You need max bonding points option as well.

I have everything covered. Hopefully I don't miss a chest or rare enemy, I'm playing on Nightmare for difficulty ones, I'm gonna grind in theOld Schoolhouse for the combat ones , grabing the last issues of the Imperial Cronicle I need and the last resipie I need is a pain.

One last advice - save often on multiple slots (80-100 per playthrough should be fine). If you forget about something you can just reload previous save (you know things happens). Good Luck ;)

I'm almost OUT of save slots. Why did they only have 399 insted of just going to 999?
