how do i get sara's final bonding event?

ok so i wanted to go for sara in my first game but cant seem to get her to join me on the bike,,,
far as i can tell ive maxed out her bonding level always triggered her free day events.

any clues would be greatful thanks ya'll

You can't ask Sara to come get the costumes on the bike with you.

You need to reach 4400 Link exp with Sara, and either spend time with her during Free Time in chapter 6 or use two tickets with her to be able to get her dance event.

To trigger it you either need bike trip or spend two tickets, i don't know about Sara but for main class characters bonding points don't matter, only those 2 factors.

pretty sure my link levels maxed out for sara.

so it looks like i simply need to max her link out, dance with her and use at least 2 tickets.

in order to dance you will need spend two tickets first. Bike ride or 2 tickets is a MUST be before you can invite to dance and have a final bonding event, bonding points don't matter if you didn't do one of those.

spent 5 out of 6 tickets on sara,
option for her didn't / doesn't appear for her.

other then that... i guess ill just have to wait for the achievement to confirm if i've gone for her

i don't think you can actually dance with her and get special cutscene in the end for obvious reasons, i didn't check it myself but i think i've seen it mentioned before.

yep, managed to dance with her just now, found it funny when rean taunted sara instead XD
looks like having no ride option with her is normal, took sara to all the festival events just to be safe, and got the option to dance with her... after laughing my ass off at rean giving patrick the death stare after chatting to her over-looking the bonfire the achievement "hot for the teacher" or something like that unlocked

In NG+ if you carry over link levels, can you then get enough XP from doing their bonding events on the next go-around to unlock Sara and Towa for the bonfire event without needing to spend 2 tickets EACH on both of them?

If you still need to spend 2 tickets even with enough link XP, that's pretty ridiculous.

So wait , what you guys are saying basicaly is , you need to spend either 2 tickets or the bike event with a character to be able to get their dance option? OR is that just for Sara?

Im pretty sure you need to spend 2 tickets anyway, that's how it is for regular classmates and for them aswell as far as i know, even if you have 10000 bonding exp it shouldn't matter.

For everyone. It's kinda dumb i agree, but i failed with option i wanted first time, exactly because i though that having level 5 with overexp, taking people in final dungeon and doing stuff like free days events would be sufficent, but in the end NOTHING matter but bike event or 2 tickets.

I know for a fact that is definitely not the case for any of your classmates. If it were, the chances are that you would never get any bonfire event option at all.

I used a NG+ save, but only for carrying over unlimited bonding points, and I had everyone except Towa and Sara available for the bonfire event. Just getting the classmates up to level 5 (or 4+ in the case of Crow and Millium) was enough to unlock them. I certainly didn't need to spend 2 tickets on the classmates, or take them on the bike ride.

Sara is only available for combat link XP for one short section and Towa not at all, and neither are options for the bike ride. Their link XP is only boostable during the rare bonding events they get.

My only confusion about Towa and Sara is if they merely need to meet a threshold of link XP. If they only need link XP, then carrying over link XP to a NG+ and doing their bonding events again should be enough to unlock them for the dance the next time.

And i know for a FACT that it is a case, since as i said i've been through expirience of failing it and it worked exactly like that, in the end i got ONLY characters that went for outfits with me and on whom i spend 2 tickets. The only thing im not sure about is that i COULD have Fie avaible and i don't really remember if i had spend 2 tickets on her i remember only one. I can say you for sure that the character i wanted dance event with was waaaaay over maximum bonding points i've done 3/4 her bonding events and took her in final dungeon and she wasn't avaible.

I think if you went on solo ride and didn't spend tickets "right" you get to dance with Elise, though it's my guess it's really hard to play into this scenario.

Maybe things work different with NG+ to which you reffer to, but on standart playthrough it works like that, and as author of this topic said spending tickets on Sara worked for him nicely so you definetely don't have to play NG+ to get it.

I might not know something, but after that i was really frustrated and went to browse different forums and all the "guides" and replies said that bike and tickets must have and my expirience tells me same thing. At the VERY LEAST doing that will secure wanted event.

do as many of her bond events as possible,
max out your link level with her
use at LEAST 2 tickets on sara.

you "wont" get a bike ride with her.
but you should get the option to dance with her

that is all thats needed

The bike ride and festival events give link XP. It's most likely that if you do not have enough before hand, those can get a character the link XP needed to unlock their final event.

That is not the same thing as needing to go on the bike ride or spending two tickets REGARDLESS of link XP.

If that was true, I would only have had the option of Alisa for the event, not everyone except Towa/Sara.

The game does not give a prompt saying "you need to spend 2 tickets onto X person to see their final event". In CS 2, there is a prompt at a certain point which says "if you spend time with a person today, you can see their final event". If you needed to spend 2 tickets on one person, most people wouldn't qualify.

I am certain that who you take in the final dungeon does not matter other than the link XP from battles. All of Class VII is there anyway.

You can't go on a "solo" ride on the bike to Heimdallr, that is the "Crow" option. Elise is only available in NG+ and has no other requirements.

I'm not saying you need to play NG+ to get Sara. I wanted to know if it was a matter of needing enough link XP or if you needed to spend two tickets regardless of link XP. At the time, I assumed you knew what you were talking about.
