What books do I need to get?

Hi all.
During the intro game, there was a mention of books I need to collect for studies. I can't remember if they mentioned any specific titles.
There are quite a few choices at the bookstore and some of the other vendors sell a few books also.
What books do I need to get, are there any specific books I should keep my eye out for?

just buy all books avaible, some of them is a slightly improvement to bonding, some are recipes. The comment mentioned in the start is just an idle talk, likely when rean checks closed bookstore, there are ALOT of such talk. It's like a pointer that they live their life even out of boundaries of game and also dialogues linking different activities, events, glimpses into events that wasnt played by you but were in-game or previous series etc.

There are also imperial chronicles newspaper that you can read for aformentioned current global events that you dont take part in ( or sometimes do ). The most "important" is "Red Moon Rose" novel series which you obtain by talking to different NPC's at certain points of time of every chapter, there are always 2 books per chapter, first one is the easiest, you can get it when you speak with bookstore owner for the first tiem. This novel series is pretty fun reading by itself + if you collect all chapters near the end you can exchange them for "secret stuff" much like in all trails games. They actually made it fairly easy to get "book set" in cold steel, if you've missed a book you can buy it at Micht pawn shop i think.

yea don't forget that there are sometimes very short story time periods, and developers really DO like to put these books into those. Those periods are always at field studies and you can easy check them by seeing if NPC's changed positions or dialogues and in CS it's usually after any advancement in story.

yea and in case you didn't notice you can read alot of info on 2nd floor of library. Pretty good to catch up in general terms of world and some major events.
