Falcom has finally released the trailer for Sen III! I wasn't going to make a Sen III thread until the CSII Steam boards were up, but since the new trailer dropped and Sen III will be released before CSII PC, and because I know a lot of the people who are playing on PC have played CS 1 and 2 on console, I've decided to make this thread now.

Anyway, the new trailer looks great! (HYPE!) Playable Olivier! (YESSS!) Can't wait for Xseed to begin localizing Zero, Azure, and Cold Steel III into English. Let's make sure to support these games so Xseed will keep bringing them over! I will update this thread with an English sub of the trailer if YotakaOfALoY makes one. I've updated the post with the subbed trailer!

You guys should also check out the Cold Steel III thread on the Xseed Forums[www.xseedgames.com]. I'd highly recommend it. You'll see Floofy, Guan, and Yotaka as regulars over there often discussing Trails-related things and offering help in answering any questions players may have about the series. I'm sure they would love the company! You should also be keeping an eye on Gu4n's twitter if you are looking for Sen III related news.

Please mark all Crossbell spoilers. Gu4n has stated that he doesn't notice any Ao no Kiseki(Trails to Azure) spoilers in the trailer, so we should be good there. I know there will most likely be spoilers for Cold Steel 1 and 2 as this trailer also shows spoilers for those games. I would also ask that you try to keep Trails in the Sky spoilers tagged as well, thank you!

I've been waiting for this trailer ever since Sen III's promotional material started being released. There was no chance of me missing this, hahaha!

I'm hoping Xseed will bring Zero and Azure first, but I guess we will gave to wait and see. Xseed will almost certainly provide a launch day PC port, in my opinion.

EDIT: At about 3:19 you can see Rean running through Heimdallr(?) with Juna and Musse running behind him with the minimap on the top right of the screen. I wonder if that will be a returning feature from the older games. Instead of just the party MC running around the maps, you have the MC with whoever's in your party following them. (Though I guess it technically returned in CSII, with Celine following Rean around during the beginning of the prologue)

I've got mixed feelings about this one. Judging by the trailer this should be game of the year and probably the best Trails game to date. Doing judgements based on trailers gets you in trouble however. CS II had a freakin awesome trailer and the game in a word... sucked (just didn't live up to the trails quality at all). I do still have hope though as i've been following the information released fairly closely. The entire mood is a lot more somber from every foreseeable "account" which should mean we'll get some much needed answers and a main that isn't a naive kid.

There was a pic released in the latest Dengekki scans that had Osborne and Eugent together. According to one of the youtube comments the quote was rather... chilling.

Osborne " A branch campus another vain struggle of the prince, let them dance together, that's the best are worthless sons can do ."

Makes you wonder what kind of unholy alliance Eugent and Osborne have formed... (especially considering Osborne's been working to actively weaken the royal family itself as well as the nobles).

This game's going to be twice as long as every other trails isn't it?... -.-;

CSIII will likely be released close to the PS4 version as well here since there is no Vita version to work on anymore, steam has fully replaced the Vita as their second platform in the west now.
Localization could probably take a while though, i heard game is absolutely massive again.

The dream is when they announced the PS4 date for US release steam release is the same day. I doubt it happens, but its the dream.

There's a good chance for that to happen. The translatiion and editing/voice work will take a good year to 1 1/2years I'm guessing. Plenty of time for the PC version to be developed along side the localization work.

Man, been wanting to curbstomp Campenella since that moment in SC where Joshua confronted him(think it was on the Glorious), since he's been asking for it... will look forward for the day I get to do it =03.

Also I hope we(as in Rean) get to kill Osbourne this time, unlike a certain other game where the kill was stolen from deserved hands(you know if you know). Or a equally satisfying death.

Yeah. The more Sky characters that return, the better. Analace would be pretty interesting, since she's another practioner of the Eight Leaves, and is even Yun Ka Fai's granddaughter.

Also, it would be cool to see Schera drink with Sara. And maybe add in Zin for good measure.

And for Zin, it'd be neat for him to interact with Angelica, since she's also a practioner of the Taito style, and was probably taught by Kilika.
