Your favourite voice acting?

While they're all quite good, I honestly think Alisa's voice actor does the best job. She seems passionate to do whatever the job requires and to do it well.

I know some won't even get the game until they get the original Japanese voice track - I don't even see the point in voicing game characters in general. I long for the times when you were left to imagine the voice behind the characters' written lines, and can't see the fuss over hearing everyone speak.

Anyway, who has your favourite voice?

You can still get original voices by replacing files, did just that so i can understand what characters are saying better, in my opinion the dub Rean sounds just horrible.Towa dub is the only good one.

I actually prefer Rean's English voice to his JP one. I'd say the biggest step down for the english dub is probably Jusis' voice

Its pretty entertaining that the NEW lines since they were not dubbed in Japanese anyway are still in English, so Rean is quite often talking to characters in English now, whilst they talk to him in Japanese 8D

Fie's a best, in both dubs.

Unless I'm mistaken, I heard you can fix this by replacing the added voiced lines with blank files. I don't know how to do that, though. I'm pretty sure someone mentioned how to do it on this forum somewhere. Sorry, I can't be of much help. Just thought I should let you guys know, incase you were unaware.

Sorry for the confusion. I don't know how to do it because I don't use the Japanese voices. I was just trying to offer some help to someone who did. Turns out they didn't need it though.

Well the thought is appreciated nevertheless. By the way I have to say Phantom Thief B has the best English voiceacting I've heard so far in this game. In my opinion, ofcourse.

they need to recast giliath osbournes voice actor...i've always pictured charles britannias english voice actor voicing him. get crispin freeman to voice crow. maybe johnny young bosch to voice rean in the sequel. and for the love of God get ferris a new va she sounds like one of the staff from xseed is voicing her. she tries to sound haughty and arrogant but comes across as fake and hollow.

I'd go with Luara and Jusis. I normally prefer subs over dubs, but I admit there was some good work done in this game.

I like most of the characters in the English Dub. Matt Mercer (the new voice for Prince Olivert) is sorta the replacement of Troy Baker roles, now that Troy is super popular and expensive. But Matt is a great voice actor anyway, so it's not the end of the world.

It'll take me a bit longer to get used to the fabulous baron's new voice actor (even though Kirk Thornton is a great voice actor), since I played Trails SC before Troy Baker was replaced. I'm sure that if I started with his new voice actor (Kirk Thornton) I doubt it would be an issue. They just play the character a bit differently, which is cool.

I really like Sara's voice actress though, because she really has a great balance between sounding playful and serious.

Also, does anyone know who voices Carl Regnitz in the English Dub? I feel like I've heard his voice in Mass Effect, maybe as a Salarian character? It sounds familiar, but I can't place it...

I'm pretty sure the dubbing of both Cold Steel games was done before Persona 5. And, interestingly enough, I've heard that a lot of the Cold Steel cast is present in P5. I also know that Sean Chiplock, the voice of Rean, voices 3 characters in Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

I didn't know it was her! Millium Orion and Chloe Price from Life is Strange voiced by the same person. That is awesome. She is very talented.
