But the best English dub in the world is still inferior to an ordinary Japanese dub.
That's an unfortunately very narrow-minded view of things. :(
This kind of statement says everything about your age and actual understanding of quality voice work.
Even with the best English dub you can find on this planet, you'll have anime characters or live action actors speaking English, making them look weird automatically no matter how great the Eng voice actors try to do their job.
No, it is an opinon. An opinined formed by someone that I assume to be a teenager that is far too into the "anime should only be Japanese" mindset to actually form a solid understanding of voice work and why some dubs do and some dubs don't work. Nothing wrong with that, I was that way at one time as well. You'll grow out of it eventully.
Nope, the more I grow up, the more I think English dubbed anime & games are horrible.
It sounds cliche to say this but that's more of a personal problem. You associate anime characters with japanese voices and can't reconcile the difference when they're voiced by an english actor. Thats fine by the way, just don't say it as if it's some kind of objective truth when it's really your own correlation.
It sounds more like you have a preference for the sound of Japanese voices versus the ones used for American dubs. That's fine, everyone has preferences, but your preference does not translate into actual facts.
Betty Boop was the original waifu :P
You meet a butler, talk to him. "Hmm, this guy must be a butler!" ...really. You think so? How retarded do you think i am?
Stuff like that is actually just a quirk of how things flow in Japanese that is hard to really translate. You see it in a ton of translations.
