Same here.
I might give up supporting EA altogether. It's not so much an investment in the game - but a gamble on me being still alive to play it.

Not really got an issue with this game. X2 has been on Steam less than a year.

But I have another 2 games one on Steam 7DTD -
Another very famous with its own launcher - whose name I won't put here as its name is a cursed byword for project creep and game delay.
I've waited well over 10 years on both since putting the money down.
7DTD is still technically in Apha after getting on for 11 years buy-able on Steam Though it is due to fully release in a month or two
As for the other one... Despite it having raised well over 600 million US$ in crowdfunding and pre launch DLC It's another 4-5 years at least before it's close to fully playable - and that's optimistic I think. Might yet be another 10+ years. Who really knows?

Sure hope it leaves EA soon. Was a little dismayed to find out that after waiting for Xenonauts 2 for so long it released straight into EA and apparently didn't even have an end game or dreadnoughts, right?

Going through a bit of a drought of games to play at the moment and Xenonauts would be great.

Fingers crossed it comes sooner rather than later

Put it this way... I was one of the thousands of people who backed this game on Kickstarter in July 2018. And it's still not ready for full release.
