When is "Q2 2023"????

Second quarter of the year, 2023. Q for quarter. So that 3 month bracket. Often used in the industry for when the date is not completely fixed yet and don't want to promise it in case it slips a little and people get mad. It's a fairly common abbreviation but we've all got to find out what it is for the first time at some point, nothing wrong with that.

There is this thing called google.com where you can find information on literally everything instead of waiting for someone to respond to a forum post. All you have to do is type "what does Q2 mean" and you would have gotten your answer immediately.

For future reference, when you hear Q4 it usually means a Christmas/December release. Was a bigger thing back when products were physical.

We're near the end of Q1 so we got three months MAX for it to arrive if it is Q2 or else they'll have to slip the official date for it. I hope it is soon too as X2 is one of the few new games exciting me this year!

As far as Im concerned GoldHawk has had plenty of time to re engineer the game and release it. if it comes out in April Ill be ok (Was supposed to be out in March) If not I can find something else to do, fishing or beach combing comes to mind.

It's been a while for sure. With the public demo and soon we should have the EA for the public it does show good signs of progress.

I'm pretty sure it was a typo and they meant Q2 2024. I hope I'm wrong though!

It probably means 2024...
If the game was going to release in the next 3 months they would most likely already have a fixed date for release.

I do hope I'm wrong, but I'm not holding my breath for this...
