As for a possible German DLC, that would pretty much require to redesign the entire campaign and make a new bomber, upgrades, gear, enemies, missions, etc... so basically remaking the entire game... you can't just slap a Lancaster on the other side of the map and sell that to people.
This has been suggested before and if i'm not mistaken, the devs have stated there will be no new playable factions (specially German) and it's easy to see why, so, this will most likely never happen... still, only the devs can confirm that.
But i doubt it will happen :(
yes you have to redesign the map, create some new bombers and gear for it but the base game is already in place it shouldnt be too much work.
and i would buy it. visiting england or even usa in late war with the ME264 would be a dream come true. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Messerschmitt_Me_264
final mission: bomb the White House
has my vote :)
Yeah, okay, scale it! OR, o on some runs on the Eastern Front. Or how 'bout (this would be hard) A Pacific expansion Play as either Japan or US, devs choose.

You are too late mate, NSA beat you. I was already renditioned to Morocco where I am subject to extreme torture. I am writing this during my 10 mins of weekly open air time.
Apparently, if an Allied Bomber Crew campaign features the bombing of the Axis HQ, it cannot be possible that an Axis campaign would feature bombing the White House.
Ah well. Lessons learned.
anyway, guess the developers are too afraid to start such a project.
is there someone here who knows how modable the game is, whould that be possible? i dont have any experience in this area i must admit.
I personally haven't tried to mod this game myself but so far it seems it might be close to impossible to, considering there's only one (and recently released) mod in existence... which is just an infinite ammo and auto-tag cheat.
Despite looking like a relatively simple game to mod, tools for modding this game were never provided as it wasn't designed with such thing in mind, this can make modding from extremely hard to objectively impossible.
I assume changing values such as weight, armour and even changing models is something relatively easy to do, but adding new content, specially on the scale you're aiming for, won't happen.
There are examples of games that can be modded but only statistically and graphically, no new content can be added, such as Dragon's Dogma and Dark Souls.
There's even games that weren't designed to be patched, such as Helldivers (if a new update was released, you had to redownload the entire game).
The lack of interest in the game doesn't help either, maybe if you had some top-tier modder interested on this game such an ambitious idea could be plausible (if the game allows it at all).
The kind of modders that push the limits of the game and entirely redesign it... Such as Empire at War: Remake and the Frontier for New Vegas.... but i don't see any of those around either :P
Our best bet for an Axis Campaign is the devs making it themselves (in which they have stated a lack of interest a couple of times) or adding mod support (I do not know the Dev's stance on this).
ps. next match against mexico wont be so easy in worldcup. wait for it.
