Flak Vest vs Survival Vests

So what do you think is better, the flak vests or the land/sea survival stuff?

Flak vest so that way your crew wont get injured as much

The reinforced survival vest is the best one. 30 Armor and land/sea survival.

Once you're advanced enough, you can equip your guys with hardened multi-purpose survival vests, that not only add 30 to sea and land survival rates, but also 30 to armour and are basically superior in any way to the heavy flak vests you unlock later - which, I think, is a big problem of balance, as once I've unlocked those super vests I never even considered changing them out for anything unlocked after them.

I never use the plain survival vests because they don't contribute to keeping the plane in the air. I'd rather focus on equipping my crew to maximize their ability to keep the plane flying and fighting.

That said, the protected survival vest currently offers the same protection as heavy flack with a better speed modifier and generous survival supplies. Combined with my pigeon and dinghy, and my crew has good chances so long as my pilot can pull off an emergency landing.

When you use alt+tab you dont need any survival skills, parachutes, rubber boats etc. But if not, you should always invest something into survival to bring you men home. Or at least some of them.

Iron man mode, bring a tissue. As there is no way in hell you're not getting attached to at least one crew member, or the bomber itself.
