Is there a way to backup up save files?

This is a fun game, but I am curious to know: Is there a way to back up save files so as not to lose the time invested if your crew dies or you switch to another PC? If so, where are the save files located?

Rename the file "BC_SaveSlotV2_1.dat" to "BC_SaveSlotV2_2.dat". Assuming you are trying to backup the "2nd slot".
Slot 1 is "BC_SaveSlotV2_0.dat"

I think there are 5 slots.

You could just zip the directory up too for more permanent save (can't see the use of that though)
