Tagging the Enemy why again?
Ok what i mean to say is why do i have to tag the enemy planes when my gunners are supposed to be trained to do it and open fire when an enemy is firing upon us, i assume i'm the captain and i have to deal with other thing beside telling my gunner to shoot each individual enemy plane that comes along, aren't they supposed to do that anyways, it's there job the only one they have on the plane, so why am i tagging the enemy planes for them?

I found myself having to retag enemies a few times now....Once I can undertsand, but 3-4 more times when everything else is falling apart?

Because such is the game's design.

It seems to me to be a unnecessary bit of franticness that just shouldn't be there, were supposed to be able to trust our gunners to their job.

Only need to tag each enemy once. This is a mangement game and keeping in control is key. It would make the game way easier if your crew auto fired at every enemy. So what is the fun? If it too easy.

A bad design at that i think, maybe what would have been better is to let the player take over the position of the gunner and let them shot down a few enemy planes and when they have to leave to do something else on the plane the gunner does there automatically based on the gunners skill level, this whole tagging thing just doesn't fit with the game.

I think the targeting make it interesting..... even if you have a level 5 gunner that doesnt know how to target an enemy... but THE AIM IS KILLING MY LIFE.

Like seriously.... its like watching someone afk spin on CS GO with a negev... lmfao

I agree. They should unlock a skill at crew level 4 where they auto target closest enemy plane, but if you target them manually, they have a better chance of hitting them or something like that.

I think it's fine the way it is. Like someone else said, it is a management game. If you take away too many of these tasks, then it gets closer to playing itself. I also read in the game that if your radar goes out (or something like that) then your tagged enemies will untag when they leave visual range. Is anything like that happening?

It's ok the way it is, so yo have something to do all the time. It would be way too easy to have gunners fire automatically. And there's auto tag anyways.

The radio opperator has a ability that let's you tack all enemies in range (lvl 6?). You can use the target system to concentrate attacks on aces if you ignore everybody else.

I don't see how a radar going out has anything to do with the gunner, ww2 gunners didn't have radar till the korean war, so losing radar wouldn't matter in the sightest, with gunner it's supose to be if you can see you can shot it, least in the RL version of being a gunner in ww2 on a bomber.

The targetting view is too zommed in and makes targeting planes when close or swarming almost too hard.
Because you loose sight of the planes and they come back. It's a management game. Like others said it's to easy. Zoom however would be nice if you could do it from regular view.

Yes I get it, It's a management game, we all get that, but there are jobs that need to be managed and those that are not, the captain of a bomber plane does not have to tell his gunners what and who to shot at everytime, he should be able to trust his gunners to do there job, instead if having to tag everyplane that shows up, how about we get to take control of the gunners seat for a bit and have some fun shooting down the enemy plane and when we have to go back to being the captain, the gunner takes over agian and does there job properly.

i don't think tagging is all that hard or easy, i just think doesn't belong at all, not when there are plenty of other things that we could be doing to insure a safe return of our crews and a sucessful mission.

Ok ... So you don't have the time to do a 360 degree scan to tag targets, but you're suggesting having time to play "gunner" and stop managing the aircraft, and when you said :

And as such, they trust you to not put them into that situation.

Do you not have a radio operator to help you with auto-target? (as already said)
