How to get v1 achivement

Where are the V1s? The v2s are the big rockets you shoot down, but i dunno where the v1s are or how to get to those missions. beat the game twice already

If I remember correctly, the V1-missiles appear in the critical mission "Doodlebug Blitz" in the base game, I think it is the second mission. You are tasked to destroy 5 missile silos before they can launch their V1s.

You must shoot one of those buggers down after they have launched. :)

If you have beaten the game already, I think you can load a previous crew and then repeat any mission you want with this crew. You should be able to get the achievement fairly easy this way.

V1s aren't rockets that launch out of silos, they have wings. V2s are the regular lookin rockets. Does the achivement work with either one?

Apologies, you are right, the V1s indeed start from a launch platform, not a silo.

Anyway, I am pretty sure the achievement can only be done in the critical mission "Doodlebug Blitz", as the V1s are a mission specfic enemy in that mission.

Thus I am pretty sure the regular V2s you can encounter in the random, non-critical missions do not count.

it are not critical missions it are just regular missions. But when you do the mission you need to destroy indeed 5 launch platforms. when it takes to long to destroy a timer will appear above it. When the timer runs out a v1 will be launched. then you just shoot it down, and then you will have the achievement.
