USAAF DLC worth it?

I'm honestly just interested in the USAAF DLC. I understand I need the base game as well, but would you say that the USAAF DLC is worth it for $11? And I'm also wondering what kind of replayability is offered in this game.

buy all the DLC and it. I say this because then you can make your bomber crew all male and white, which the devs apparently initially opposed until they sold us a tool to fix it. The USAAF DLC is great. I would highly suggest it now that they've fixed last minute bugs.

Edit: For anyone who wants to complain about this comment, I only care about semi-historical accuracy. My B-17 crew was miraculously all male, but there were african americans (nope for the time) and men with heavy mustaches and goatees (no way in the USAAF for a number of a reasons, including safety with oxygen masks) so I fixed that with the crew editor.

What is there to do in the game outside of the campaign? Is there a challange mode or an end game?

You can replay missions to your heart's content, upgrade your crew, your aircraft in many different areas, train your people with special abilities... etc. It's not at all realistic, so don't expect that, but it's fun.

Oh yeah, I wasn't expecting realism. But I do love the chance to stare at a silver B-17 bumbling along. Anywho, bought the deluxe edition. thanks for the info.
