Is there a demo I could try?
I don't like buying games without having a taste of what they're like.

Dev team is two people, so buying and relying on the Steam refund system is your best bet.

Steam won't give me any more refunds for the same reason I want a demo :/.

MY point exactly XD! That's why I always try a demo or watch at least 10 youtube videos.

Steam refund policy is 2 hours and XX days. Try it for an evening. When I've used it, and I have, it seemed automated.
Though the OP did say they no longer get refunds Im not sure how you could have annoyed Steam to blocking refunds for any new purchases.

What I think is a good Idea is looking on youtube, and watching a play through of the first few missions, then you can determine if it would be a good investment. But personally I would highly recommend it.

Steam policy also includes stipulations that if they think you're abusing the system they can refuse you. It sounds like OP has been refunding enough that they cut him off.

I like the game, and there WAS a press demo with limited access to the game, so if a slightly-updated version of that was released as a demo, that would probably benefit a lot of potential customers.

They can cut you off if you refund to much... But you shouldn't get to that point because steam usually sends you a warning which informs you of your "abuse"

Anyone steam cuts off for doing too many refunds is a customer no one wants.

If this much effort and debate is required by OP on whether to buy a $15 dollar game, he needs help.

I spent 3x on lunch yesterday and amazingly enough didn't need reviews, total strangers on a forum, or youtube videos to help me decide where or what to eat.

P.S. I went with fish and chips, they were quite good.

The reason I want a demo is because I always end up buying games I don't like in the long run. I could go buy food with 15 dollars rather than spending it on a game, so I want to try it before I buy it. Yet I must say there is no reason for you to stroll up in here and be a sarcastic asswipe.

Food is essential....
Fish and chips are delicious....
A game is for entertainment...
15$ isn't that much, but can be wasted if you buy something you don't like....
These fish and chips were 45$....I think you got ripped off...

How did I get ripped off? 45 dollars is some pricey food.
