Ancestors will MOST LIKELY get a sequel

I don't get why people say it probably won't when in the beginning cutscene, it says "Volume 1, Before Us", This game is separated into volumes, and this is Volume 1. It makes no sense for there not to be a sequel.

I fully agree with you on that. But it can also be that the part saying "before us", is only leading into the play of the game, as in who we were BEFORE becoming full Homosapiens. It doesn't necessarily mean that the DEVS are working on a sequel game to this one.

Just because the intention was for there to be a sequel (which there was/is, two more in fact), doesn't mean we'll get one if they don't think it will sell well enough (this one supposedly didn't sell well to start with).

But that Reddit thread is 3 years old. There's no recent info or confirmation. There's nothing anywhere to suggest the sequel is currently being worked on.
