If you can't Gen Skip or Evo

1 thing I have found is if I cannot skip a Generation or use Evolution , keeps saying I have to be in home camp ....etc , if I take the whole clan with me and go for a " day " walk and create a Home in a totally different area this fixes the problem .

It is increasingly sounding as though your game has a whole host of scripting problems that next to/actually nobody else is reporting. Not that I disbelieve you right out of the gate, but it is not usually one person with all of these sorts of problems all in one go.

Actually someone else was saying they could not Gen Skip or Evo , so I posted a solution that works for me .

This is one of those games where I am ironically wishing I experienced more bugs so that I could possibly offer more help. I've had only one major issue across more than 300 hours of play, and that was only because the power went out at the same time as an ape died so the save got corrupted. Even then, I was able to restore that save just by keeping on trying it a half dozen times (though for one of those times I was playing as a dead ape...which was a helluva sight).

Wow , sounds terrifying :-) . I do backups of the save every time I sleep and/or the game saves , that way if I run into an issue I can just restore the savegame file , the files are tiny , I had a month's worth of saves ( and that is a lot of saves ) and it only took approx. 400 MBs of space . I have tons of saves at the moment and that is only 147 MBs .
