Problem with Keyboard/Mouse and Steam controller

So i bought Ancestors THO at release on epic and sadly did not have the time to play it...it kinda got forgotten by me,but now I wanted to start playing it...but there is one problem. The game aknowledges the spacebar/A key and Esc/Pause and I can move in the game...But I can not navigate menus. I cant go to the options,I can't create a new tribe...nothing. I really could use help here. I already reinstalled it but nothing came of it. I already looked in the "controller" config and as far as I can see it...no buttons a bound and I don't know if that's the cause and if....how to fix it.

I already found a solution. When in the menu press ALT+Enter to force the game into windowed mode. Then go into option and pick a resolution that fits your screen. In my case, the game picked 4K insted of 1920x1080. I hope that resolves your issue c:

My problem is using key board and mouse. I switched the game from controller to keyboard and mouse but I am old, have glasses and can't see the focus symbol?? wtf is that. I finally figured out the mouse symbol call others but the focus is messing me up. I am near sited I take my glasses off and still can't figure out that focus symbol and how it works.

I have been playing online games for years now, and my first was SWG(Star Wars Galaxies) that game I was using macros. This game I want to play but can't the controls make me want to return it.

Please help please fix this Developers

The way the game is controlled feels like I am playing the old DOS games, type command enter maybe we get somewhere maybe not. I move my mouse I am suppose to focus wtf button is it and time expires or something. Forget sleeping I keep call the group.

Not fun not exciting, I would rather play Red Dead Redemption 2, 50 times again then figure this game out.
