I do think you would enjoy this game, it is slightly different and a bit more in depth than the afore mentrioned games but I think it is worth buying
( don't forget Steam does have an awesome refund system as long as you return within the specified time)
Autosave overwriting function is a ♥♥♥♥♥ - and that's what's ruining an otherwise great concept of a game.
At one point I must have issued a "group follow" command, instead of just one member, and by the time we realised it, mostly everyone was dead - they had somehow gone on the other side of the waterfall, god knows what killed them. Didn't feel like starting over - there were 4 kids in the group, decent progress, had started to alter tools etc. Never even got to a confrontation with a predator yet. Got a refund and that was it.
The lack of a manual save option is what will send (this otherwise innovative game) into the 5 euro graveyard - on all platforms. If you really want to buy it- just wait
You and everyone else getting confused by this should stop waiting for the game to tell you something and instead start thinking about what could be going on and how to make it work for you.
