So to put it simply you have to change the ape if you play as female because you will give birth to only two children, but if you play as a male, then you can mate with all fertile females in a tribe with that specific male until all avaible children are born.
When you change generation, only your neurons are secured, but when you evolve, entire millions of years pass. So if you reached 2 million years, then this is where the game ends, you can still complete all objectives (evolution feats) and purchase missing skills and change generation but you can't evolve any further until volume 2 of the game is released.
Well, that's why I don't understand it, what doesn't allow me is a generation change and evolve if it leaves me since I have not yet reached 2,000,000 years
Omnivore is a mutation that needs to be gotten through raising babies with genetic mutations to at least adulthood. Then evolving with the trait being on an adult or elder. It will most likely take multiple generations and multiple previous mutations and neurons locked in. Once the neuron is unlocked, you will have to invest in multiple neurons and eat the foods needed to unlock the different food types.
