When should i evolve?
Hello, i'm pretty new to the game and have been doing well so far, atm i have 5 elders one of which has a mutation, 5 Adults two of which have mutations and 5 kids and two of them have mutations.
I also have some questions.

1. Would now be a good time to evolve or should i just swap generations?

2. If i evolve will i be able to reinforce unlocked traits before doing so?

3. If i evolve will all of my current mutations (including the children's mutations) get unlocked for after the evolution.

The children's mutations don't get unlocked, only the ones on elders and adults. Swap generations until you have a decent amount of mutations (at least 4 or 5), or until you get a mutation you really want, then evolve. I think reinforcing only works when swapping generations.

Ah thanks for the help, i will skip a generation then and then evolve until i have a satisfactory amount of mutations.

Evolve way later. Do everything you can think of first. Get those nodes activated. Gen up as much as you like, but evolve when you have lots of the lists highlighted in the Evolve menus: Expand, Explore and Evolve. Don't be afraid to explore, but be careful.

1) No. Gen up and be creative, you'll get a sense when will be a good time later. Not game sense, just you.

2) Evolve will negate any gen reinforce for that generation. If you want Gen traits, evolve on the next gen so you can reinforce this gens.

3) When you hover over the orange dots, it will say "when they become adult" or "when you evolve". All adult ones you have are activated on gen up, all evolve ones are activated when you evolve. they will unlock more neuron lines for both types.
