Ah thanks for the help, i will skip a generation then and then evolve until i have a satisfactory amount of mutations.
1) No. Gen up and be creative, you'll get a sense when will be a good time later. Not game sense, just you.
2) Evolve will negate any gen reinforce for that generation. If you want Gen traits, evolve on the next gen so you can reinforce this gens.
3) When you hover over the orange dots, it will say "when they become adult" or "when you evolve". All adult ones you have are activated on gen up, all evolve ones are activated when you evolve. they will unlock more neuron lines for both types.
